I'm Alive!!
Yes, I know I haven't been updating my blog for a while and it seems dead.... Again..
I'm updating now to say that I am still alive (incase some of you are wondering.....yea right..).
Well, I'm sorry about that, but I've been real busy (and lazy too, I admit that). I'm having a whole lot more classes than I did last semester, especially since the the syllabus are so wide, particularly for my F7. Classes can and very often I might add, go from 8am to 6pm followed by my ridiculous English class at night or a couple of nights of karate. So by the time I reach home, I'm practically dead...
Anyway, the past couple of weeks weren't much different from any other week. My life is boring, I know.... I miss my friends who are abroad though. We used to go for morning walks in Kiara Hill on weekends, have breakfast together, movies occasionally, oh and Swenson's on some Tuesday nights... All the good times... Now everyone is busy with their studies, assignments, exams and I hardly saw anyone else other than my college mates... A friend of mine graduated from my course recently and is now working with one of the Big 4 accounting firms. He started his job lately and I wish him all the best (i.e Sheng Yuen).
Hmm, I had better get going, I still have things to read for my progress test tomorrow... make that today since it's past 12am =O!!!

Crappy Birthday...
I was born on this very day, 19 years ago, a few minutes to 8am (if I am not mistaken). I may be born in the morning, but for some reason, I seem to be rather nocturnal these past few years, haha. I find it easier to sleep during the day than during the night...
Anyway, I only had about 4 hours of sleep last night, due to F7 work, so I got up rather reluctantly this morning and got ready for 6 1/2 hours of classes. I could hardly concentrate and nearly slept in the first 3 hours. Fortunately, we got a short break at 11am and I manage to gulp down a cup of hot coffee with 'tongkat ali' (some kinda herb-some people say it makes you horny; not for me apparently). It didn't really help but better than nothing I guess. Throughout the day, I was receiving text messages wishing me a happy birthday and to have a nice day (yea right....). Sadly, my cell ran out of credit! So I could hardly reply anyone! Class finally ended at 2.20pm and I was so grateful.
The sun was blazing and since my car is black in colour, it absorbs heat and it felt like an oven! I dropped Faizan at the Kelana Jaya station and went to my high school to get a certificate which I have not collected (1119 English cert) but apparently it's not out yet, AFTER 3 YEARS!!!! I spent some time there talking to my former Biology teacher, and after a half hour or so, I decided it's time to leave.
I got home and decided to work out a little before I shower. Seems like the strain on my back and chest have not completely recovered, and I think I just made it a little worse today (OUCH!!).
I decided to skip my English class today (hence, I was home early), only to find myself studying for F8 (Audit and Assurance) class tomorrow! I got a call from a friend to go out and have a drink but sadly, I had to decline as there was still some things needed to be done.
That's about it for my crappy birthday. I am signing off now and going to bed before I find out there are more things to be done that would make my day even worse. Goodnight people...
p/s : Thanks for the wishes guys, I really appreciate it. I got 3 numbers from Australia, one is Kevin, another is Edwina, so assuming the 3rd is Suh Ming? Haha, there was no name!

Baby's day out....
As the title says (literally), my cousin gave birth today (hence, 'day out')! To a boy named Koray Leong Campbell (sorry, not too sure of spelling; parents, please don't kill me). I haven't got to see him yet as I went for my second karate class.
Karate was good tonight, a little tiring as I went for a swim in the morning, followed by audit class in the afternoon. A lot of physical training and right after class, my legs felt a little weak and numb. They felt wobbly when I was walking down the stairs from the second floor. Haha.. Feel a lot better now though.
I still have some work to finish up for class tomorrow morning, so I had better get going. Cya

Fresh start for me and my blog. . .
Hey all
I'm back! Yea, it's been quite a while since I last posted, and by the looks of it now, it seems like I've never posted! At least to new readers it looks that way. To my old bloggies, I deleted all previous posts cause I feel that most, if not all, of them are pretty dull and boring and I would like to come back with a new start.
Just to sum up some things from previous posts, my name is Darren, I'm 19 this year (in 3 days) and I'm currently studying in Sunway University College. I'm an ACCA student, just finished papers F1-F6, and now taking F7-F9. You can read the rest about me in the "about me" section.
The past couple of weeks have really been hectic for me. I had my progress test 1, results for my Dec 08 exams came out [congratulations to all who pass-me included :)], I had insufficient time to finish up work for classes (due to not needed English classes, thanks to Sunway), not to mention my best friend and a couple of pretty close ones were going to Australia to study for a year (all the best to you guys) and my cousin is about to give birth to a baby boy any one of these days (Uncle Darren soon, lol). Oh, I also went for my first karate class last night. Haha. Yea, I'm a 1st dan black in taekwondo, so enough on kicks for now, and I'll learn up on hand movements. It was pretty fun actually, and I have friends there, so makes things even better.
I'm actually doing some studying right now as I have a short test on Tuesday for F7 (Financial Reporting). So, I guess I'll bring my nose back to the books for now. Cya guys...
